![]() | As soon as she was big enough to hold a pencil, Mary was writing. A month later, after telling a particularly funny joke at the dinner table, she discovered she also enjoyed being the center of attention. She knew writing in her diary wasn’t likely to garner thunderous applause, so Mary decided to spend her spare time onstage. Over a decade later, Mary has logged a tremendous amount of stage time as a solo performer, emcee, actor, award-winning slam poet, budding motivational speaker, and Neo-Futurist. Mary has performed professionally across the U.S., from Maine to Washington, from New Orleans to New York City. Whether she’s captivating audiences with a poetry performance, entertaining a crowd as emcee, speaking to students, or delivering a dramatic monologue, Mary has performance chops that will make any director (play, event, or otherwise) proud. |
