Just lovely. I was thinking about this recently—an actor I adore and look up to recently won an Emmy for a role he plays in which he is probably in his late 20s. I don’t think he had any well-known parts before this one. In reality, he is 40 years old! I thought, you know, it takes a long time to find success. All that preparation he surely went through, all culminating into that one shining moment. And isn’t it better to find it later in life than when you’re young and you can’t really appreciate it and then it’s gone?
