Mary I’m so sad I wasn’t available when auction started. I went to action a few minutes ago, and everything sold out already! I knew they would go fast but was hoping for Tues. You don’t want t o sell any more do you?

Well, that went fast!!!! I did not even get a bid in! Congrats Mary on selling all your lovelies & making lots of $$$$. And to the winners -You did good!!! This was definitely a WIN-WIN all around!!!!!
I think your BIN prices were far too low Mary. If you ever do anything like this again…lesson learned. I’m thrilled that you reached your goal!

So when does Auction #2 begin!?!?!? If you don’t have enough quilts remaining, how about we bid on YOU?!? So that you don’t think I’m totally nuts, I mean, let’s bid on a visit/lecture/demo from you .. we can sit around and drink tea and eat coconut macaroons, or we can cut quilt blocks, we could sew them after we cut them, we can brush the crumbs off our faces/hands/laps and just hang out and visit … you could surprise some of us in Winterset and be working behind the ticket/snack counter at a wonderfully restored theater that you might have seen or at least heard about here in town . . .

Mary your Memories quilt is my absolute favorite EVER!!! I was able to get a couple of bids in before it sold. In between my bid and it being sold, I was calling my parents and husband to tell them this is what I wanted for my 50th birthday, but I was too late. Rats and rats again. I remember from the show that you had a few lost blocks that were found. If you still have them and want to sell them for more charity money, let me know! I’m so glad you were able to raise so much money so quickly! I hope you do it again!
