Greetings from Portland!

But I’ll tell you more about that later. For now, the first Quilt Scout of the month is so silly, you just have to read it. It’s your very own quilt horoscope, so obviously it’s very important.

Enjoy the Scout; I’ll see you tomorrow, probably with wet shoes and Voodoo Doughnut in my hand. I’m in Portland, after all.

Love,
Mary

Welcome back to Portland! We’re always glad to have you. Watch your step in that slippery airport pizza place though!

Hope you planned for a spin through Powell’s & Fabric Depot! Those two stores are my nemeses. It’s free to get in, but there’s a $100 minimum exit fee! And that’s only after I force myself to put down many, many gems.

    Have a lovely visit!

Hahaha – good one! And for me that means putting aside my UFOs until April – yayyyy! But back in the present I could really go for one of those doughnuts. Pity I don’t live anywhere near!

Welcome to Oregon! I hope Portland treats you well … I saw via Instagram you visited my favorite fabric shop, Modern Domestic. Love everything about that store. The staff … the fabric … I’m on my way there this morning for the monthly Patchwork Society meeting!

Mary- Have a great time in Portland! I know you’ll enjoy all it has to offer! I live in Bend, about 3 hrs. away. Wish you would visit Bend, or Sisters. Sisters is where Jean Wells has her beautiful store, “The Stitchin’ Post.” and where the Summer quilt show, “Quilter’s Affair” happens every July. Please think about it, and let us all know in advance, when you do. I always enjoyed you while on the show, and now reading your wonderful blog and writings. Have fun, and be sure to plan another visit in the Summer. Oregon is such a beautiful state!
